Deborah is a respected leader whose career spans business, nonprofit, and municipal service, all while making a significant community impact. Throughout her professional journey, she has been a steadfast advocate for women's equality, ethical leadership, and the empowerment of others. She proudly served her country in the United States Naval Reserves, earning the rank of Lieutenant, a reflection of both her discipline and dedication.
For more than thirty-five years, Deborah and her husband, Mark, have built a life together in Traverse City, Michigan. They cherish time spent traveling, exploring the outdoors, connecting with family, and celebrating the life they’ve created. While they were unable to have children of their own, Deborah often jokes, “It’s amazing how many people have offered to give me theirs!”, a testament to her nurturing spirit and the deep relationships she has cultivated.
Today, Deborah continues to lend her experience and voice to organizations focused on ethical leadership, equity, and the advancement of women. Her work reflects her lifelong commitment to empowering others to lead with strength, integrity, and purpose.
